Made In Hungary: Zoe Phobic

3 Winter Must Haves From The ANDA Runway

Last Saturday I was invited for a very special event dress at Tesla which was held for the press. There were 4 fashion shows from two Hungarian fashion brands: Anda and USE Unused. In the afternoon they both presented their new spring/summer collections however I couldn’t make it to those shows unfortunately. I arrived before the Anda A/W16 show which is not the newest collection, it’s for this season. However it was very inspiring and enjoyable and I got some ideas for winter outfits. The event was different from the usual fashion events here in Budapest. First of all, the location…

My Favorite Fashion Shows At Mercedes Benz …

At the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe I’ve attended a lot of fashion shows. Some of them were absolutely amazing and inspiring and some of them were not so statement but this time I’d like to highlight the best moments. I think we can all feel very proud that we have such great designers in this little country who work very hard to build their brands. Those who’ve been reading my blog for years probably know my favorite designers because I often mention their names on this site. I find it important to support these designers and this is…

#YoungTalents⎢Interview With Three Fashion Design BA …

Supporting young talents is very important for me and that’s why I decided to start a new series on my blog where I introduce you some young creatives. First I would like to share you 3 interviews with 3 Hungarian designers who just graduated from Metropolitan University Budapest. I was browsing through the BA diploma collections and these were the ones I liked the most. The interviews are in Hungarian but in case you’re interested in these three designers just contact me for any information. Nagyon fontosnak tartom a fiatal tehetségek támogatását, hiszen manapság rengeteg a kreatív tervező, viszont épp ezért…

Eye Candy: Marchesa

I have to sit down… Alright, actually I was already sitting but still, I forgot to breathe while I was scrolling through the Marchesa Pre Fall 2016 collection lookbook photos. You know that I’m not that kind of girl who’s into everything that is called ‘fashionable’ or ‘trending now’ and I don’t automatically follow all the current trends when I dress up. However I’m always up-to-date with the newest collections because for me fashion is not H&M or Bershka, it’s not what I can afford, more like what I dream of. Since I was a little kid I had this pure love for clothes…

A/W Trend Spotting At Elle Fashion …

On Friday I attended the Elle Fashion Show 2015, it was great! The event took two days but I only went on the first day with my bestie, Zsófi, and a blogger pal, Zóra and her sister. Altogether the event was cool, though to be honest it wasn’t really well-organized, there was a big mess and a delay but the shows were awesome. Three French designer got to present their A/W collections and then four Hungarian designers’ collections were on the catwalk. I took a lot of photos as I could sit front row, and instead of a usual summerizing post…

Internship At Dori Tomcsanyi

My internship at Dori Tomcsanyi was a fantastic part of this summer. I’ve already talked about it a lot on the blog, like really, but I haven’t posted these photos of my new Dori Tomcsanyi clothes. She gifted me with these two gorgeous pieces from her collection, I’m totally in love with them! The pencil skirt is totally stunning, I love the color and the material of it, and the plant printed silk blouse is also a really cool item. I paired them with my Vagabond sandals. :) In the end of this post you can find the video of my…

Colori Di Mare

When Anna Olah the designer behind the brand Anna Amelie offered me the idea of a collaboration I was so happy! She is an amazingly talented Hungarian fashion designer and I adore all the bags she creates. I’ve visited her showroom and I could choose the material of my clutch! I chose this beautiful ‘mermaid leather’, it’s so gorgeous that I can’t take my eyes off it. I also love the long blue fringes, they look so cool. In Sardegna we shot some outfit photos with the bag, I was wearing a blue BeBop dress and a small necklace. As…

Stella McCartney Resort 2015

Stella McCartney is a kind of role model in my life, I love her designs. She studied at Central Saint Martins in London and she graduated in 1995. She worked for Chloe and then in 2001 she launched her own company which was named after her. She has collaborated with many amazing brands such as Adidas, Ed Ruscha and H&M. Stella McCartney never uses fur or real leather and her creations are so fun yet elegant. Even though many people had doubts about her and they said she is only famous because of her father Stella demonstrated that she is…
