The Best Details From The Runway #MBFWBP

As I’ve promised here is a little summary of the collections I’ve seen at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest! I know, it’s been a while since I attended the event (it was on 1st April) however I had literally no time to organise a post like this for the blog as I’m preparing for my final exams. I decided to choose a new way of showing you the best looks from the designers’ collections: I picked out the coolest four details from each of them. It was not easy to choose only four things from each collections as there were so many lovely details!…

#MBFWBP Moments

On Saturday I attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest. After the fall event, this year Design Terminal organised the fashion week in spring as well. The event was part of the program of Budapest Spring Festival. Although it’s called “fashion week” it only lasted for one day – but what a day! It was such a hectic, exciting and interesting experience. First of all the location was very special: the event took place at the famous contemporary art museum, Ludwig Museum! It’s one of my favourite places in Budapest so I was really happy when I found out about this news. I think…

Christmas GIFT GUIDE 2016

Christmas is around the corner and I hope I’m not the only one who left the gift shopping for the last minute. I’ve bought a few presents yesterday but I still have quite a few to arrange. In case you are in my shoes this Gift Guide can be a helpful list of some very cool gifts. I have collected ideas for different types of people such as travel addicts, beauty gurus, fashion lovers and the artsy friends. Obviously these do not cover the entire humanity but you will hopefully get inspired! For a travel addict For a travel addict the…

10 Festival Pieces From Hungarian Designers

The festival season is here and I decided to put together a wishlist containing only Hungarian designer pieces. I think it’s important to support Hungarian designers and let’s be honest: these items are way more unique than a H&M basic tee so if you’d like to stand out here are a few tips. 1. Bridget&Olivia shorts: I love to combine sporty items with girly pieces! These shorts are so beautiful, I love the color and the texture as well. I think I’d wear it with a cute crop top and sandals. 2. Balilla earrings: I don’t have my ears pierced…

Pompoms & Flower Embellishments

Let me introduce you the cutest pair of heels here! I can’t decide what I love the most about it: the flower embellished glittery heels or the laces with pom poms! They are possibly not the comfiest shoes I’ve ever worn but definitely the coolest ones. I combined them with a pink top and a white neoprene skater skirt and my new clutch bag from Anna Amelie. Anna Amelie is one of my favorite Hungarian designers, I just love all the bags she creates! Do you remember my mermaid clutch? That’s also her design. This clutch is glittery black and it’s really…

Waiting Game

The story behind this title is that today my teacher asked us what we were looking forward to. Well, I said I was looking forward to Christmas. Now I’m really waiting for X-mas to come so I’ve already checked out a site called X-mas Clock which counts the days and the hours until The Day. Today it shows 107 days which is very sad. But this whole thing has nothing to do with today’s outfit (I didn’t wear this at school, the occasion is only the photoshoot). This gorgeous grey dress is from Yesfor, I love how the back  of…

Colori Di Mare

When Anna Olah the designer behind the brand Anna Amelie offered me the idea of a collaboration I was so happy! She is an amazingly talented Hungarian fashion designer and I adore all the bags she creates. I’ve visited her showroom and I could choose the material of my clutch! I chose this beautiful ‘mermaid leather’, it’s so gorgeous that I can’t take my eyes off it. I also love the long blue fringes, they look so cool. In Sardegna we shot some outfit photos with the bag, I was wearing a blue BeBop dress and a small necklace. As…

Anna Daubner Showroom

Yesterday I went to see the Anna Daubner capsule collection. She shares a showroom with Anna Amélie (she’s also a great designer, I think I’m going to write about her too, in the future). The atmosphere was amazing and inspiring, and the clothes were fantastic. Anna studied at MOME and she spent 3 years in London (working at big fashion companies such as Miu Miu and Maison Martin Margiela), now she is back in Hungary and she has just launched her clothing brand, Anna Daubner. Her designs are all really sophisticated with clear cuts, and interesting materials. The collection’s main…
