Think Pink

On Tuesday I met one of my friends, Nori, who’s a model/blogger. We had a delicious thai lunch at Buddha Original and then we walked around the city centre and we even took some outfit photos. It was really good to see her after such a long time and we definitely had a lot of fun! I was wearing my new favourite shoes which I had bought at Vagabond. They are super comfy and I love to wear them with fishnet socks! I got on a pink T-shirt and a black midi skirt, and I decided to put on this…

The Best Details From The Runway #MBFWBP

As I’ve promised here is a little summary of the collections I’ve seen at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest! I know, it’s been a while since I attended the event (it was on 1st April) however I had literally no time to organise a post like this for the blog as I’m preparing for my final exams. I decided to choose a new way of showing you the best looks from the designers’ collections: I picked out the coolest four details from each of them. It was not easy to choose only four things from each collections as there were so many lovely details!…

#MBFWBP Moments

On Saturday I attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest. After the fall event, this year Design Terminal organised the fashion week in spring as well. The event was part of the program of Budapest Spring Festival. Although it’s called “fashion week” it only lasted for one day – but what a day! It was such a hectic, exciting and interesting experience. First of all the location was very special: the event took place at the famous contemporary art museum, Ludwig Museum! It’s one of my favourite places in Budapest so I was really happy when I found out about this news. I think…

Made In Hungary: PAAVA

Nowadays mostly everybody buys fast fashion. It’s cheap, it’s everywhere, you can quickly and easily get clothes from the nearest shopping mall anytime… But at what cost? First of all the biggest problem with fast fashion is that it’s very harmful for our environment. How these companies produce their items and the materials they use is a damaging procedure. How they have employees working for such a small salary and in terrible conditions is also pretty terrible to think about. And these products are very low quality, you can probably wear a fast fashion T-shirt for about 2 months but that’s it, it…

First Day Of MBFWCE⎢What I Wore, …

This weekend I attended the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe which took place in Budapest, at Várkert Bazár. It was a very hectic, busy, exciting and inspiring two days and I enjoyed it very much. Timi accompanied me to the event and we had a lot of fun. We saw many great fashion shows and I will definitely tell you more about them in my next post. First I would like to share some photos from Saturday. We had lunch at Á la Maison which is one of our favorite places in Budapest. It has a charming French vibe and the food is…

The Highlights Of My Week

Happy Monday everyone! Last week was great but very exhausting at the same time. I went to some really cool events and places and now I’m going to share 5 highlights of the past few days. Csodás hétfőt mindenkinek! A múlt hetem elképesztően kimerítő volt, ugyanakkor rengeteg klassz eseményen, workshopon és rajzórán voltam. Ebben a bejegyzésben összefoglalom a múlt hét 5 legklasszabb pillanatát. 1. Fossil event at High Note Sky Bar I have never been to the High Note Sky Bar before – so I was very excited when I received the invitation for Fossil’s event. It was a lovely afternoon, I loved the new…

Why Is It Useful To Have Sewing …

I’ve been sewing clothes for myself since I was 12 however I have never felt fully satisfied and proud of any items I made. I’ve attended two short sewing courses: a one-week beginner level course when I was about 12 and a 40-hour short course last autumn. However I still feel like I am not even close to that level I’d like to reach, I know the basics and I can use the sewing machine but my works are not really professional. This is why I decided to learn how to sew again from the beginning, and this time I did not want to…

Practical Outfit Decisions

Today we had lunch at our favorite Indian restaurant in downtown with my family. I was 100% prepared: I wore mom jeans and a loose fit shirt so I could eat as much as possible and I didn’t feel uncomfortable after that, haha. Sometimes I just have to think practical! Also, I really wanted to wear this shirt, I just can get bored of it! It’s quite new, I bought it a few weeks ago at Zara and I think it has a great color, also the little cactus patterns are really adorable on it. I paired it with these ripped jeans and…

About Winning The InStyle Style Award

I don’t know if you have heard the great news: I won the InStyle Style Award!!! It’s such an amazing success, I still can’t believe it! Thank you so much for your votes, I’m so happy that I got this award. Unfortunately I wasn’t there on the gala where they announced the winners because I was skiing in Murau, Austria with my family. We spent 5 days there, this was probably our sixth time there, I guess that means we love Murau (we definitely do). :) It was awful to go back to school after such a lovely and relaxing ski trip,…

Sequins, Ruffles, Pearls…

Today I went shooting with one of my friends, Győző. He is a really talented photographer (check out his Instagram, @gyozogalcsik) and he also makes videos (this is his Youtube channel). We met in downtown for a coffee and some macarons at an adorable place called Chez Dodo. Honestly, they have the best macaron in Budapest and trust me, I have tried many… I can absolutely recommend that place. I was wearing a ruffled blouse from Dizen Clothing with a gorgeous vintage jacket from We Are Cow. These two look great together, I love that the blouse is so girly…

Heroes’ Square

Budapest is a truly beautiful city and I love walking there and just pretend to be a tourist. Yesterday we went to the Heroes’ Square to shoot some photos of this outfit and fortunately there weren’t as many tourists as usual (only a few Japanese people and they kept taking photos of me, haha). I was wearing this burgundy BeBop crochet dress which is going to be a perfect must have piece for next year’s festival season! I paired it with a fedora, boots and a little backpack. :) I was thinking if you guys could recommend me some great music? Because…
