Black, White, Grey… And Burgundy!

You probably already know how much I love Nubu (which is a Hungarian fashion label), as I have talked about their designs on my blog several times. In this article I’m introducing you their other line called Nude by Nubu. It’s mostly for young people, all the clothes are very practical and cool and the prices are more affordable. They have shops around Budapest, at Andrássy, Mom Park and Monofashion. I’ve partnered up with them to show you how I style Nude By Nubu in two outfit posts (the next one is coming soon as well). During winter most people stuck with the black/white/grey…

Staying Warm While Looking Elegant

The holidays are coming so I’ve been thinking of some outfit options for special occasions when I have to dress elegant but try to stay warm at the same time. This is not an easy question as usually looking chic and not catching a cold does not come together, haha. First of all, a nice blazer can be a very practical item because it keeps you warm while it gives a little elegance to your look. If you’re wearing a blouse and you don’t want to get a huge knitted sweater on it (it might crease the blouse) then it’s a better solution to go…

Flowers For Winter?

I have previously shown you some sneak peeks from this photoshoot with Karol&Blase on Instagram and now I can finally reveal what exactly we’ve done together. Karol&Blase is a company that sells beautiful cut flowers and this year they decided to choose a “Floral Ambassador”. Well, I was the lucky one they chose and our first project together was this photoshoot where we used hundreds of chrysanthemums. We decorated this ivy fence with flowers in one of my favorite streets nearby. Emil Chalhoub took the photos of me. Chrysanthemums usually last for weeks, they don’t droop after a few days, and a lot…

MACBA & Barcelona Beach

First of all, Happy December! I am beyond excited for all the good things coming up this month, on Saturday I’ll have my prom and then Christmas and New Year’s Eve… Also there are several new projects I’m currently working on and I can’t wait to talk about them here on the blog. These photos were taken exactly one month ago in Barcelona when we visited the MACBA (a contemporary art museum) and then we headed to the beach. I remember how sunny it was, there were thousands of people on the beach, some of them even took a swim…

Fundació Joan Miró

Joan Miró is one of my all-time favorite artists so I was very excited to visit the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona. It was probably the best memory I have from Barcelona because it was very inspiring and interesting to see his works in real life and to read about his life. The building looked very cool and modern and there were so many Miró paintings, drawings and installations that it took me about 2 or 3 hours to go through the entire museum.  I was wearing my Frida T-shirt from PSTR Store, a pair of culotte pants, New Balance sneakers…

3 Winter Must Haves From The ANDA Runway

Last Saturday I was invited for a very special event at Tesla which was held for the press. There were 4 fashion shows from two Hungarian fashion brands: Anda and USE Unused. In the afternoon they both presented their new spring/summer collections however I couldn’t make it to those shows unfortunately. I arrived before the Anda A/W16 show which is not the newest collection, it’s for this season. However it was very inspiring and enjoyable and I got some ideas for winter outfits. The event was different from the usual fashion events here in Budapest. First of all, the location was not…

Birthday Trip To Barcelona

I can definitely declare that Barcelona is one of the best cities to visit on Earth. This was my second time there and even though it was only a four-day trip I fell in love with the city again. I think it’s kind of the mix of New York, Paris and Rome. It has the cosmopolitan vibe of NYC (where I have never been to, haha, I only have an illusion in my head because of all the things I’ve seen in the movies about NY), the old and beautiful buildings of Paris and the sunny weather of Rome. For my 18th…

Couture Classes #1

It’s been a few months since I had written about my experience at Lucia Fashion Academy. I started to take Couture and Fashion Drawing classes in the end of summer and since then I have learnt a lot of things. I’m going to write about this learning process frequently because apparently many of you are interested in this topic. In my first post about why I started to learn sewing again (which you can read here) I told you how I made this decision and how excited I was to learn there.Well, I still have that excitement, it’s really cool…

I Am The Fashion Blogger of The …

Last weekend the most unbelievable thing happened to me. I won the “Fashion Blogger of The Year” title! I am so happy for this award, it’s a great honour! The contest was held by Cosmopolitan magazine and there were 6 different categories. I was – obviously – in the “fashion blogger” category among 4 other bloggers. I was pretty sure this is not my chance to win because I thought there were more popular ones in the competition. The winner was chosen by a jury, a group of professionals like the editor-in-chief of the Cosmopolitan magazine or the country director of Google Hungary. The…

My Favorite Fashion Shows At Mercedes Benz …

At the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe I’ve attended a lot of fashion shows. Some of them were absolutely amazing and inspiring and some of them were not so statement but this time I’d like to highlight the best moments. I think we can all feel very proud that we have such great designers in this little country who work very hard to build their brands. Those who’ve been reading my blog for years probably know my favorite designers because I often mention their names on this site. I find it important to support these designers and this is…

First Day Of MBFWCE⎢What I Wore, …

This weekend I attended the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe which took place in Budapest, at Várkert Bazár. It was a very hectic, busy, exciting and inspiring two days and I enjoyed it very much. Timi accompanied me to the event and we had a lot of fun. We saw many great fashion shows and I will definitely tell you more about them in my next post. First I would like to share some photos from Saturday. We had lunch at Á la Maison which is one of our favorite places in Budapest. It has a charming French vibe and the food is…
