My First But Definitely Not Last Time …

I’ve heard that Milan is quite a boring place… WHAT? Who said that? I want to live in this city, it felt like home to me when we arrived. It was only a two days long trip but guess what, the plane ticket was 9000 huf (which is around 30 euros) only! So so cheap. And we found an accommodation which was also around 30-35 euros per night so altogether it was a really good bargain. I travelled with my friend, Alexa, it was our first trip together and it was such an unforgettable experience! We walked around Milan, we…

Madrid Trip #2

Soooo this is the second part of my Madrid trip recap! We went to so many amazing places that it would take quite a few more articles to really talk about all of them so I decided to just highlight my favourites. They have this wonderful market place called Mercado de San Miguel. It’s not your usual market with some dirty fruits and chaos: it’s in a really nice and organised building, it’s full of tourists and local food specialities. We had lunch there but we couldn’t decide what to eat so we ate everything, haha. I had frittata, paella…

Madrid Trip #1

I graduated from high school, yaaay! It’s been a crazy adventure so far, my grades turned out to be a lot better than I expected (I got “A” for all 5 subjects on my final exams). To celebrate the end of high school we planned a trip with 4 of my friends. We chose Madrid because we hadn’t been there before and we all wanted to see it. Also, the plane ticket was on a great price and altogether the city is a lot cheaper than for example Barcelona or other bigger European cities. We rented an Airbnb apartment in…

Sziget Festival 2016

Sziget festival was truly amazing this year, I’d attended so many great concerts! It’s literally the best thing to be at such a huge and popular festival with your closest friends – you can make lots of wonderful memories. If you guys follow my Instagram (@emmaistvanffy) and Snapchat (emma.i98) you have probably seen my pictures and videos from the festival. I tried to post quite often but I feel like it’s so much better to live the moment and even though it’s good to capture it you just don’t always have your phone in your hands to take a picture. I am starting…

Monki

I’ve always wanted to own a piece of clothing from Monki but unfortunately they don’t have a shop in Hungary. Previously I’ve told you that one of my best friends had spent one year as an exchange student in Denmark – and Denmark has Monki stores all over the country. She was so sweet, she asked me what she could bring me home as a present so I scrolled through Monki’s site and picked this really cool T-shirt. Thank you again, Bori, for this wonderful tee, I think I have only washed it once since I have it however I wear…

Tropical Summer

The past few weeks have been quite chaotic, I’ve been running around the city basically every day. On these busy days I had to wear something comfortable on my feet so usually I picked a pair of sneakers. My new favorite is this tropical printed Vans sneakers, I ordered it from Coreshop and I am obsessed with it. It’s comfy yet it looks amazing with these prints on it. I like to combine sporty shoes with elegant clothes and these Vans sneakers are perfect for these kind of outfits. I wore them with a casual but chic look: a pair of loose culotte…

Scotland Photo Diary

Yesterday morning I arrived home from the school trip, it was so awesome! Although the bus ride was really long we had fun anyway. We stopped in Amsterdam, spent there one day, then we took the ferry to Newcastle and went to Scotland. Then on the way home we had a few hours in Utrecht too, I loved that city! However in this post I’m only going to share you some photos of Scotland because otherwise it would be too many pictures in one post. :) So in Scotland we stayed at families’ which was cool, the family where we were placed with…

Sziget Festival 2015 Memories

I’m really sorry for the lack of posts lately but I’ve probably had one of the craziest (in a good way) weeks of my life! Sziget Festival is a pretty popular music festival in Europe and it’s in Budapest. Last year we only went there for one day with my friends but it was so cool that we decided to buy a week pass this time – turns out it was a marvellous decision. First of all: basically my top 4 favorite songstresses were ALL performing at the festival! How lucky I am?! I got to go to Ellie Goulding,…

Exploring Notting Hill

After the last day of the course at CSM we decided to explore Notting Hill with Carolin. Okay, first we stopped at Paul to grab a giant macaron, then we went to Harrods and checked out all the fabulous designer shops, aaand then ate macarons (yes, again, because why not?!) at Laduree. However we still had some time so we went to Notting Hill, I think it was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We found many fancy streets, they looked beautiful! I loved the houses too. We couldn’t stop taking photos, actually I have around 300-400 pictures…

Snaps From The Weekend | Balaton

I’ve spent the weekend at Lake Balaton with my friends, it was fun! We swam a lot in the lake and in the pool as well, ate good food and laughed a lot, so just casual stuff. :) On Friday after we arrived we went to the beach but we left our phones at the appartment, well, it was a big mistake. I have never seen such beautiful sunset in my life, it was seriously just like a dream. We were amazed and yet pretty angry for ourselves… Try not carrying your phone and there comes the problem. So we could only take…

Bye, Bye, Winter!

I know, officially spring starts on the 21th March but for me the 1st March means the end of winter, and it’s tomorrow! I can’t believe it! I put together a dress + jacket look which can be worn on a warmer winter day and a colder spring day too. This mesh dress came across the mail a week ago from FrontRowShop, I’m absolutely obsessed with it! I paired it with a jacket which is nude and leather, I think it suits the dress well. I got on my must haves: my fedora (I know, lately I’ve been wearing it…
