Red, Blue, Yellow & Green

I love minimalism in fashion and photography but I have always been the type of person who loves colors and prints more. I just find them more fascinating. However I often dress simple and wear darker colors or take minimal style pictures… but it really depends on my mood. Well, two days ago when we shot these photos I really wanted colors and more colors in the pictures. It was quite a good starting point that I was wearing a blue printed sweater with a transparent raincoat from the spring/summer ’16 collection of my dear friend, Simi Szoke. I have mentioned his…

About Winning The InStyle Style Award

I don’t know if you have heard the great news: I won the InStyledress Style Award!!! It’s such an amazing success, I still can’t believe it! Thank you so much for your votes, I’m so happy that I got this award. Unfortunately I wasn’t there on the gala where they announced the winners because I was skiing in Murau, Austria with my family. We spent 5 days there, this was probably our sixth time there, I guess that means we love Murau (we definitely do). :) It was awful to go back to school after such a lovely and relaxing ski trip,…

Simeon Szoke A/W

Do you remember the 18 year old super-talented Simeon Szoke? Of course you do, how could anyone forget about such a prominent and incredibly young fashion designer!? Well, he has released a new collection (2015-16 A/W) which I’ve shared on my Facebook page a couple of weeks ago. I’m absolutely obsessed with all the clothes, especially this oversized dress which he gave me (thank you Simi!). In case you’re interested in this stunning piece of clothing you can contact Simi at szokesk@icloud.com! What I like about Simi’s designs is that they are not those typical feminine and fancy items, they…

Designs By Simeon Szoke

In yesterday’s outfit post I was talking about how happy I was for spring, now I’m going to share you a bit wintery outfit. But it has a reason! This outfit is very special because both the sweater and the pants were designed and made by my lovely friend, Simi (Simeon Szoke). I met him at Dori Tomcsanyi’s showroom when I was working there as an intern. He’s 18 years old and he’s doing his last year in high school and planning to apply for an art university. However he has already designed and sewn a lot of clothes and…

Sequins & Hamsa 2.0

It’s so hard to find a comfortable sequined dress! Every single sequined item I’ve ever met in my life was all really stinging and it wasn’t fun to wear it at all. I was looking for a shiny dress in December for the holidays but I couldn’t find the perfect one. Then I had an opportunity to choose a piece from Sheinside’s shop as a blogger collaboration and I saw this dress, I immediately fell in love with it. However I was a little bit suspicious whether it was a comfortable dress or not but finally I decided to order…

2014 Summer Collection #4

The last day of summer means the last outfit of my 2014 Summer Collection! I could have said that I planned this timing but the truth is that I had so many things to do during the summer that I didn’t really have time for sewing. Today I was thinking about this summer and how quick it left… I miss it already. Just to name a few of my best 2014 summer memories: the holiday in Sardegna, my internship, going to the Balaton twice with my best friends, art camp at Panyola, Sziget Festival, VOLT festival, grill party with my…

Botanical Garden

Today we decided to discover the wonderful botanical garden in Budapest, called ‘Füvészkert’. It was a great besties-day, I was with Veve and we ate fruits and took a lot of photos there. It’s such a wonderful place, we loved it! After that we visited Fruccola which is a salad bar, and then we went to Veve’s house and watched PLL. So all together it was a perfect day, we’ve had so much fun. xx *** Ma Vevével úgy döntöttük, hogy felfedezzük a Füvészkertet. Még sosem voltunk ott, de szuperül éreztük magunkat, rengeteget fotóztunk és gyümölcsöt ettünk (nem a kertből, azt…

Mint & Emerald

I would never have thought that mint green and emerald green look good together. I was walking around in my room, looking for the perfect skirt or short with this gorgeous mint shirt and I saw the ‘Mermaid‘ set that I had sewn for the 2014 Summer Collection. I immediately knew that this was going to be a really cool pairing. I got on my chunky AlisonSman sandals because I didn’t want to look too elegant but I also put on a pearl necklace (very Chanel). I’m a living paradox. Yesterday was awesome, I really liked Maleficent! It’s a fantastic movie,…

2014 Summer Collection #1

Last summer I created a summer mini-collection which contained 5 pieces, all of them were designed and sewn by me. I’ve posted outfit photos of them and in September I made a little video. In case you’ve missed it, you can check out the looks here and the video here. This year I decided to do the same thing: design a mini summer collection again. It’s so much fun and a great experiment! And as I’d like to work as a fashion designer  in the future this is a great opportunity to learn and practice. My first collection was called…

Write Me A Letter

Skater dresses look good on most of the girls. I’m into this kind of dresses, especially the printed ones so when I received this wonderful item from Paint The Town I fell in love. How cute are these letter box prints?! The colors are so strong, these red, blue and yellow shades are really nice. I paired the outfit with red sunnies, they suit the patterns of the dress. Ohh and the sandals. Last September they were torn and I was so unhappy because these are my favorite sandals ever (or let’s say one of my favorites, I don’t want…

Groundbreaking

I love daisy prints (probably you can still remember my knitted daisy-sweater, in this post e.g.), this is why I adore my new Persumall dress. It’s a great essential item for the spring season, it’s dark blue and not black (which is wearable when the weather is sunny) and, hey, it’s flower printed and spring without flowers… it’s not a real spring. :) I’ve been thinking of writing some extra articles on my blog which are not outfit posts, more like writings about fashion or other topics. I’m curious if you’re interested and if you have any ideas just tell…
