Made In Hungary: Zoe Phobic

The Best Details From The Runway #MBFWBP

As I’ve promised here is a little summary of the collections I’ve seen at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest! I know, it’s been a while since I attended the event (it was on 1st April) however I had literally no time to organise a post like this for the blog as I’m preparing for my final exams. I decided to choose a new way of showing you the best looks from the designers’ collections: I picked out the coolest four details from each of them. It was not easy to choose only four things from each collections as there were so many lovely details!…

#MBFWBP Moments

On Saturday I attended the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest. After the fall event, this year Design Terminal organised the fashion week in spring as well. The event was part of the program of Budapest Spring Festival. Although it’s called “fashion week” it only lasted for one day – but what a day! It was such a hectic, exciting and interesting experience. First of all the location was very special: the event took place at the famous contemporary art museum, Ludwig Museum! It’s one of my favourite places in Budapest so I was really happy when I found out about this news. I think…

Garda

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! This year I was not really in the Christmas mood however I still had fun, I ate a lot and I gave + received amazing presents. It was nice to relax for a few days however I have already had to get back to my to-do list. In my last outfit post I showed you how I styled a Nude by Nubu coat and pants. This time we shot a few pictures of a second look which is a bit more edgy. I wore a cool printed T-shirt with a fish print on it…

Black, White, Grey… And Burgundy!

You probably already know how much I love Nubu (which is a Hungarian fashion label), as I have talked about their designs on my blog several times. In this article I’m introducing you their other line called Nude by Nubu. It’s mostly for young people, all the clothes are very practical and cool and the prices are more affordable. They have shops around Budapest, at Andrássy, Mom Park and Monofashion. I’ve partnered up with them to show you how I style Nude By Nubu in two outfit posts (the next one is coming soon as well). During winter most people stuck with the black/white/grey…

Mittersisters

First of all I’d like to thank you guys for all your support, I received so many positive comments/messages for my latest post! It truly warmed my heart. Today I’m going to talk about a particularly special Hungarian brand, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anything like this. There are plenty of accessory designers on the market and I feel like when it comes to designer bags a lot of people decides to spend loads of money on having the perfect bag of their dreams. Finding the perfect bag is not an easy mission but nowadays you can hear about a lot of places where they make…

#YoungTalents⎢Interview With Three Fashion Design BA …

Supporting young talents is very important for me and that’s why I decided to start a new series on my blog where I introduce you some young creatives. First I would like to share you 3 interviews with 3 Hungarian designers who just graduated from Metropolitan University Budapest. I was browsing through the BA diploma collections and these were the ones I liked the most. The interviews are in Hungarian but in case you’re interested in these three designers just contact me for any information. Nagyon fontosnak tartom a fiatal tehetségek támogatását, hiszen manapság rengeteg a kreatív tervező, viszont épp ezért…

10 Festival Pieces From Hungarian Designers

The festival season is here and I decided to put together a wishlist containing only Hungarian designer pieces. I think it’s important to support Hungarian designers and let’s be honest: these items are way more unique than a H&M basic tee so if you’d like to stand out here are a few tips. 1. Bridget&Olivia shorts: I love to combine sporty items with girly pieces! These shorts are so beautiful, I love the color and the texture as well. I think I’d wear it with a cute crop top and sandals. 2. Balilla earrings: I don’t have my ears pierced…

My First Nanushka Pieces

I’ve been craving for Nanushka clothes since I first heard about the brand (and that was probably 4 years ago). I’m really happy that I could finally get my hands on two (!!) Nanushka pieces! They had (and still have) a pop up sale at Kristóf square and there are really good discounts. I went there on Thursday and I immediately fell in love with these loose fit black and white printed pants. Then on Saturday I was around that neighbourhood so I visited the pop-up store again and came home with this shirt. :) Basically I can’t afford designer clothes but these…

Marie Claire Editorial Shoot | #BTS Of The …

As I’m a true fashion magazine worm I’ve always wanted to see how a photoshoot looks like in real life. I was thinking that it would be great to visit a magazine’s fashion editorial photoshoot one day and take some behind the scenes pictures to share them on the blog. The whole idea of doing a series about the Hungarian fashion industry came to my mind last year but I didn’t have enough time to do it until now. My plan is to present you some Hungarian fashion designers, magazines, models, stylists, bloggers, photographers, etc and show you a little piece…

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe | Day 2.

On the second day of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe I arrived a little late so unfortunately I missed some shows I was planning to attend. However I wasn’t as tired as on the first day and you can clearly see the quality difference in my photographs, haha. I’m going to present three great shows I saw that day, they were all very interesting and individual. I also included some photos that I took at backstage, see them in the end of the post! *** A Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe második napján kicsit elkéstem (hála a BKK-nak), ezért néhány show-ról lemaradtam…
