Made In Hungary: PAAVA

Nowadays mostly everybody buys fast fashion. It’s cheap, it’s everywhere, you can quickly and easily get clothes from the nearest shopping mall anytime… But at what cost? First of all the biggest problem with fast fashion is that it’s very harmful for our environment. How these companies produce their items and the materials they use is a damaging procedure. How they have employees working for such a small salary and in terrible conditions is also pretty terrible to think about. And these products are very low quality, you can probably wear a fast fashion T-shirt for about 2 months but that’s it, it…

Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is not so far away and it’s always better to prepare as soon as possible than to wait until the last minute. I am definitely that last-minute kind of gift shopper because I like to hesitate a loooot when choosing a present. Not everyone gives big and expensive gifts to their mother for this occasion, some people just like to stick with the classic flower bouquet surprise. However the internet is full of gorgeous Mother’s Day gifts, some of them are just fun cool stuff and some are simply beautiful. For example I love Uncommon Goods, I always find…

Learning How To Do My Prom Makeup

I am not a skilled makeup artist, usually I learn beauty tricks from Youtube videos or from my friends. I wear makeup every day and I am good at creating the same look all the time however I have never really understood how to actually do my makeup right for a special occasion. You probably remember when I posted some photos on Instagram in December about my prom and I also mentioned that I had my makeup done at MAC. I absolutely loved it and since then I’d tried to do it by myself at home but I just never really succeeded.…

#DWClassicPetite

What a sunny day! We spent the afternoon at Árkád, shooting for their Messenger and Viber bots (I wrote about this project in my previous post). However before the shooting we decided to take some photos of my look of the day, I was wearing a comfortable and sporty outfit. I got on my Monki pants which I had bought in Amsterdam, I’ve been wearing it all the time! It’s super comfy and looks great with everything. I paired it with a flower printed crop top which actually costed 1,5 euros!!! Yes. That’s correct. It was an awesome bargain, I ordered it from…

A New Project

I am working on a special project with Árkád, a huge shopping center in Budapest. I share fashion tips on their Messenger and Viber bots twice a week. Sometimes it’s a full look and sometimes it’s just an outfit detail. It’s in Hungarian so I would not recommend it to the non-Hungarians as you wouldn’t understand a word, haha, but I really wanted to share with your this good news and also these photos. This Mango look was my first post, I was wearing a printed blouse, black trousers and a black leather jacket. I chose a small nude coloured…

Sunday Morning

I had quite a hectic weekend, especially Saturday was a very long day… I was at Árkád (a shopping mall in Budapest) with some bloggers at the Blogger Wardrobe Sale event. It was a lovely day, I enjoyed it so much! It was nice to meet and chat with my readers, and I could sell about 70% of the clothes I brought there so it was also a successful shopping event. I was there from 9am to 6pm so you can imagine how exhausted I was after this program. I spent my Sunday at home, I’ve been working on a design project…

Amsterdam + Life Update

Some of you may have recognised the lack of posts lately – I know, it’s not okay to disappear for weeks but I really had to. One of the reasons why I decided to quit for a while was an unexpected and heart breaking tragedy in my family which happened in mid-January. After the incident I wrote two blogposts but it was not easy and it didn’t feel right. It hurts a lot that this blog’s number one follower won’t be able to read my blogposts anymore and I had lost my motivation for this period of time. I did not…

Winter Sun

Have you seen the latest pictures of the Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris? I am beyond amazed how gorgeous the newest collections are. I have checked out the photos of Elie Saab, Dior, Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Margiela and many more fashion houses and I just loved all of them. Actually I am a huge fan of haute couture, I find it way more fascinating than the ready-to-wear clothes. I will probably write a bit more of these collections in a further article, would you be interested in reading something like that? Anyway, in today’s outfit post I’d like to show you what…

Okinawa

In the past few weeks it’s been pretty cold here in Budapest but luckily we had shot these pictures before New Year’s Eve – otherwise in this weather I would be freezing in a skirt like this. I wore my new favourite winter sweater which I had bought about a month ago at Nanushka. It was on sale and it was definitely one of my best bargains, I’ve been wearing it almost every day lately. I combined it with this skirt which I got for Christmas, I think its length is perfect and the ruffle on the front looks pretty. I…

10 Resolutions + 10 Goals For 2017

Happy New Year! I decided to share a few of my resolutions and goals for 2017. I do not really like resolutions because usually I can’t keep them so this year I’m making resolutions which start with “I’ll try…” so there won’t be any pressure, haha. So, what are yours? Do you have any resolutions, any big plans?

Bye 2016, Hello 2017!

Wow. This is my last outfit post in 2016. I can’t believe this year is over, I still feel like we have at least a few months left until 2017… 2016 was a crazy, very busy, successful, exhausting and exciting year for me. A lot of terrible things happened in the world which I am very very sad about however I, personally, had a lot of nice memories. Of course there were ups and downs but that’s natural. I will write a little summary of 2016 tomorrow (or let’s say in two days, haha, possibly I’ll be too tired to type…
