The Best Details From The Runway #MBFWBP

As I’ve promised here is a little summary of the collections I’ve seen at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Budapest! I know, it’s been a while since I attended the event (it was on 1st April) however I had literally no time to organise a post like this for the blog as I’m preparing for my final exams. I decided to choose a new way of showing you the best looks from the designers’ collections: I picked out the coolest four details from each of them. It was not easy to choose only four things from each collections as there were so many lovely details!…

Okinawa

In the past few weeks it’s been pretty cold here in Budapest but luckily we had shot these pictures before New Year’s Eve – otherwise in this weather I would be freezing in a skirt like this. I wore my new favourite winter sweater which I had bought about a month ago at Nanushka. It was on sale and it was definitely one of my best bargains, I’ve been wearing it almost every day lately. I combined it with this skirt which I got for Christmas, I think its length is perfect and the ruffle on the front looks pretty. I…

My Favorite Fashion Shows At Mercedes Benz …

At the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Central Europe I’ve attended a lot of fashion shows. Some of them were absolutely amazing and inspiring and some of them were not so statement but this time I’d like to highlight the best moments. I think we can all feel very proud that we have such great designers in this little country who work very hard to build their brands. Those who’ve been reading my blog for years probably know my favorite designers because I often mention their names on this site. I find it important to support these designers and this is…

My First Nanushka Pieces

I’ve been craving for Nanushka clothes since I first heard about the brand (and that was probably 4 years ago). I’m really happy that I could finally get my hands on two (!!) Nanushka pieces! They had (and still have) a pop up sale at Kristóf square and there are really good discounts. I went there on Thursday and I immediately fell in love with these loose fit black and white printed pants. Then on Saturday I was around that neighbourhood so I visited the pop-up store again and came home with this shirt. :) Basically I can’t afford designer clothes but these…

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe | Day 1.

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe was a two day long event at Várkert Bazár, in Budapest. I was there on both days with a press ticket and invites from Hungarian fashion designers which was a pretty cool feeling! I was really astonished when I received so many invitations. :) I attended almost every show at the fashion week but I’m only going to write about a few of them which I particularly liked for some reason. I have mixed emotions about the event itself. In my opinion it wasn’t as well organized as in the previous years, at some point I…

TONI&GUY Fashion Week Budapest

On Saturday I attended the Toni&Guy Fashion Week Budapest at Palazzo Dorottya. There were six Hunagrian designer’s collections on the runway but I only saw three of the shows (because in the morning I was at the aerobic championship). It was an amazing experience for me, I think this was the best fashion show that I have ever been to! We had so much fun with Veve, the atmosphere was great there. In these events not just the collections inspire me from the runway, but all the guests are so stylish, I love their dressing. *** Szombaton került megrendezésre a…

Schoolgirl

Sorry for not posting for a few days… Actually my computer went wrong but now it’s okay. :) At the weekend, on Saturday I have participated at the Fashion Week Budapest with Veve. I got an invitation from Nanushka for their 2012 s/s show (thank you so much again!). I think it was an awesome event, the new collection of Nanushka is totally cool. Today I show you a very school-girlish outfit. It’s quite up-to-date for Hungarians because we have a national holiday on 23rd October. Before that day the students have to wear the white blouse + black skirt/pants…

Diamonds & Ash – Summer Collection #3

This is the third piece of my Summer Collection 2013 (Fire)! I call this outfit ‘Diamonds & Ash’. Diamonds because of the metallic shorts – inspired by these Nanushka shorts – and the Swarovski cristals on the black blouse (which is the ‘ash’). It was a great fun to create this look. First I sewed the shorts, it was really hard because of the material – it’s not too easy to work with it. Then I made the blouse which is from a totally simple pattern, the rhinestones pinned it up. This is my favorite from the collection at the…

Come & Get It

When I saw this shirt in the shop (Stradivarius) the first thing came to my mind was the style of Nanushka. :) It was love at first sight! I combined it with striped pants which make it more interesting, and I was wearing my favorite sandals from Humanic. For accessories I put on my key-necklace, a studded bracelet and big sunnies. On Teen Vogue Fashion Clickmy latest post was selected as Editors’ Favorite! Thank you so much! <3 Amikor megláttam ezt a felsőt a boltban (Stradivarius), az első dolog ami eszembe jutott róla, az a Nanushka volt. :) Egyből beleszerettem.…

Nanushka Fashion Show

Tegnap Vevével a Fashion Week Budapesten voltunk, Nanushka bemutatón. Kollekciói letisztultak, ugyanakkor nagyon rafinált szabásvonalak jellemzik, színvilága általában pasztellesebb – bár idén több színes ruhadarabot is láthattunk a kifutón: lilát, pirosat, türkizt… A ruhák anyagait külön kiemelném: könnyedek, modernek. A tegnapi bemutatón több kötött darab is szerepelt, pulcsik, bojtos sapkák.…

DIY Flower Crown #2

In yesterday’s post I was wearing a white flower crown. I told you I was going to show you how I had made it. It’s really easy! What do you need? – fake flowers with clip (they are originally for table decorating) – a simple headband. You just have to put the flowers on the headband, and here you are! It’s ready.
