How To Find Your Personal Style

I receive a lot of questions from you guys about how to dress more interesting, more unique and how to find your personal style. I often think about this because I find it really interesting how someone’s style is influenced by so many things. My style has been changing and developing a lot through the years and it’s so great that this process is documented on this blog. I have been blogging for six years now (so I started iEmma when I was 11) and it’s really funny to look back to those days when I wore polka dot leggings with a…

How Would You Style A Pair Of …

In the second round of the Joy x F&F blogger competition all the chosen bloggers had to style the same piece of clothing: these brown culotte pants which are must have items of this season with the color and the cut. To be honest I’m not a big fan of this color shade however I tried to get the best out of it. I didn’t want to pair it with only black and white so I combined it with prints and a little pop of color. Finally I chose this tree printed shirt which is one of my favorite tops in my wardrobe. We shot the photos…

Team Dogs

I’m more of a dog-person than a cat lover although I used to be really afraid of dogs. However this fear has gone (mostly) but I have to admit that I can still get pretty scared of agressively and loudly barking dogs. But I think that’s normal. This T-shirt is one of the cutest items in my wardrobe, I love the Frenchie prints on it! And the color is really adorable as well. I thought I should pair it with something playful so I got on this black denim pinafore dress which I bought at Stradivarius on the same day as the…

Army

At the weekend I went shopping to get a couple of new items for autumn, including this khaki shirt-dress. I found it at Pull&Bear and I was obsessed with it for the first sight. I think it’s a very practical item because it can be worn in many ways! I’m going to feature it in more upcoming posts, I have a lot of ideas. If the weather gets colder I can pair it with pants – all I have to figure out is what kind of outerwear would look the best with this super long shirt. Probably a leather jacket?…

Groundbreaking

I love daisy prints (probably you can still remember my knitted daisy-sweater, in this post e.g.), this is why I adore my new Persumall dress. It’s a great essential item for the spring season, it’s dark blue and not black (which is wearable when the weather is sunny) and, hey, it’s flower printed and spring without flowers… it’s not a real spring. :) I’ve been thinking of writing some extra articles on my blog which are not outfit posts, more like writings about fashion or other topics. I’m curious if you’re interested and if you have any ideas just tell…

Denim With Denim & Stripes…

I used to like denim-with-denim looks and striped clothes but lately I’ve got bored of them. And today I got on an outfit which contained high waisted denim shorts with heart patterned denim shirt and a striped turtle neck top… Okay, so what?! I think it doesn’t matter if you don’t like something because there’s always a right way to wear it. Well, it seems it happened to me. Because I love mixing patterns I paired the stripes and the little hearts (on the shirt) with dotted socks. Oh, this is the other thing… In the last post I said…

Daylight

After such a long and busy week I’m sitting here in my room, there’s a weird green stuff on my hair (mom’s home-made hair mask, I hope my hair won’t turn to green) and I’m listening to Maroon 5. Last weekend we’ve been skiing with the family and some friends and we were in Austria until Wednesday. On Thursday after school we had a sleepover party at Julcsi’s house. It was awesome, we did the ‘Chubby Bunny challenge’ with the girls, it was hilarious! We made a video of it but I’m sure you don’t want to see it… :)…

Tomboyish

Yesterday I watched the new (Halloween) episode of Pretty Little Liars. Omg. It was awesome and shocking! I really love this series, I think it’s very exciting. Also, yesterday was the world premiere of an other series called Ravenswood. I’ve seen it too and it seems to be quite exciting, just as PLL. :) This outfit has no connection to Pretty Little Liars or even Ravenswood, except one fact: my look has been partly inspired by a character of PLL, Spencer Hastings. I’ve written about her style in this blog (you can check it out here), she dresses very tomboyish,…

Hello School!

So we are over the first day. It wasn’t that bad, we got the timetables (well, that part was BAD), talked about the events, exams, second language studying for this year, etc… And we spent the last lesson in the park of the school so it was great. :) This dress is from BeBop Clothing, it arrived in the same package as the blue one. Actually I think BeBop is one of the best dressing companies, these clothes are totally perfect for me hahah. :) This black and white dress is so beautiful, I love the stripes and the shape.…

Jelly Shoes And Dotted Overal

Jelly shoes were really fashionable in the ’70s and ’80s. Now they come back to fashion (oh thank God). I think jellies are really cute, especially with cool accessories like socks. I paired them with dotted socks (as usually I pair everything). :) I bought mine today at Pull&Bear on sales. There were some pink ones too and those were totally awesome but they were in the size 40 which doesn’t suit me. :( Anyhow I think black ones are more practical to combine with anything and they look much like real shoes than beach slippers. I was wearing them…

Emma-Power

My favorite actress is Emma Watson! She is my role model since I saw the 1st Harry Potter movie. I’m totally in love with her style, and I think her personality is nice too. :) Yesterday I went to the cinema with my BF (Veve) to watch The Bling Ring! Emma acts really great in it and the other actors and actresses are so cool too! The movie is about a Californian group of teenagers who robbed some star’s wardrobe (like Paris Hilton, Megan Fox, Rachel Bilson…). It was very exciting so we enjoyed it a lot! Teen Vogue’s August…
