Okinawa

In the past few weeks it’s been pretty cold here in Budapest but luckily we had shot these pictures before New Year’s Eve – otherwise in this weather I would be freezing in a skirt like this. I wore my new favourite winter sweater which I had bought about a month ago at Nanushka. It was on sale and it was definitely one of my best bargains, I’ve been wearing it almost every day lately. I combined it with this skirt which I got for Christmas, I think its length is perfect and the ruffle on the front looks pretty. I…

Bye 2016, Hello 2017!

Wow. This is my last outfit post in 2016. I can’t believe this year is over, I still feel like we have at least a few months left until 2017… 2016 was a crazy, very busy, successful, exhausting and exciting year for me. A lot of terrible things happened in the world which I am very very sad about however I, personally, had a lot of nice memories. Of course there were ups and downs but that’s natural. I will write a little summary of 2016 tomorrow (or let’s say in two days, haha, possibly I’ll be too tired to type…

4 Books I Recommend

Lately I’ve been asked frequently about what I read and what kind of books I recommend that are somehow connected to fashion. Well, I have lots of fashion/art books at home so I thought it would be interesting for you if I share four of my current favorites. We shot these photos a few days ago in a morning in my room, I was wearing a comfy home-outfit but I guess you can tell by looking at the pictures, haha. *** Az utóbbi időben gyakran kérdeztétek tőlem, hogy miket olvasok mostanában, illetve hogy milyen divattal kapcsolatos könyveket ajánlok. Rengeteg divat/művészeti könyvem van…

Mesh Sweater Sewn By Me | Hello, 2016!

For 2016 I don’t have too many resolutions because I just don’t really like this, I mean, usually I can’t keep them so it’s unnecessary to promise them. Of course I have plans and goals for the new year but those are not really written down, they are just in my head every day. I know that if I achieve them I’ll be a happier person and that is motivating enough. One of my ‘resolutions’ (or plans) is to sew more this year. I always have designs but I can get too lazy or I have no time to sit…

Happy Holidays!

First of all I would like to wish happy holidays to all my lovely readers! I hope you are spending these days with your loved ones, eat until you get into food coma and relax even more. Actually I’ve already gained 2 kilograms because of those Christmas cookies (we have a traditional Hungarian dessert called ‘bejgli’, I think I’m about to become a giant bejgli). Yesterday we celebrated Christmas Eve at our home with the close family. I got wonderful presents including this coat, I’m obsessed with it! Today we visited one of my grandparents and we shot a couple of…

5 A/W Looks For School | Featuring My …

I’d been looking for the perfect autumn/winter coat this season for weeks and found nothing. I mean, there are many gorgeous products in the shops but somehow I had problems with almost all of them (the price, the material, the quality, the color, the shape… something was always wrong). However after browsing the shops for hours with my mom we saw this grey coat at Mango and we both thought that it looked really nice. I liked the texture and the color as well and the price was fine compared to the others and also it was partly a birthday…

Self-Designed Outfit At The TGFW

For the Toni&Guy Fashion Week Budapest I have sewn an outfit for myself. I thought it would be cool to wear something self-designed on such a big fashion event like this. :) The skirt was made from a strong pink colored material which is like a raincoat material, or – in some light – it’s like fake leather. The black sweater is a simple long sleeved piece but I applied a grey pleated hem on it. What I like about this outfit is that it’s so comfortable yet chic and elegant! It was appropriate for the fashion week but it…

Designs By Simeon Szoke

In yesterday’s outfit post I was talking about how happy I was for spring, now I’m going to share you a bit wintery outfit. But it has a reason! This outfit is very special because both the sweater and the pants were designed and made by my lovely friend, Simi (Simeon Szoke). I met him at Dori Tomcsanyi’s showroom when I was working there as an intern. He’s 18 years old and he’s doing his last year in high school and planning to apply for an art university. However he has already designed and sewn a lot of clothes and…

Win a LIFECHANGER Sweater!

As I’ve promised, here is a giveaway! I teamed up with Made By Riley, a British company who creates high quality T-shirt and sweaters. Their designs are amazing but there is one thing that makes them even more awesome: they donate 20% from every sold piece for charites! I think this is an amazing gesture. I received this cool sweater from them with the title ‘Lifechanger’ on it, I love this item! And – due to Made By Riley – you can have a sweater like this too! Scroll to the end of this post for the details. I combined the…

Tea Length

Tea length skirts are not as popular as mini skirts, yet they can be chic too! Well, if your goal is to show more skin then go for the mini. It might be a boring twist (if you’ve read my latest posts) but this skirt is also from mom’s old wardrobe… I know, I keep showing you outfits which contain my mother’s clothes that she had worn in the 80’s-90’s, but they are so cool! For example this striped tea length skirt is so pretty. It’s actually a dress but I got on a printed sweater over it. I combined…

Sweater & Skirt Designed By Me

Here is what I’ve been working on lately: a self designed and sewn sweater and skirt! I hope you like them! The sweater was made from a thick black silk material and in the front there is a blue square which reminds me of the Teletubbies’ thing on their belly, haha. The light yellow figure in the middle of the square has a story, the inspiration was a broccoli and it was quite a long process until the final print was ready… I’m not sure whether it has anything to do with broccolis but I really like how it looks.…
